The Bharat Jodo Yatra (BJY), which began on September 7 in Kanyakumari and made one stop near Birla School in the Galandar area of Pampore, reached Pantha Chowk on the edge of Srinagar.

After staying there for the night, the yatra would start again at Pantha Chowk on Sunday morning and end near Nehru Park on the Boulevard in the city.

Rahul Gandhi, a senior Congress leader, will raise the tricolour at the party headquarters on M.A. Road on Monday. After that, he will speak at a public rally at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium, which has been invited by 23 political parties that are against the Congress.

On Saturday, bharat jodo yatra took a break at Lethpora in Pulwama and put a bouquet of flowers at the spot where 40 CRPF soldiers were killed in a terrorist attack in 2019.
