Lady Gaga’s new outfit for her upcoming film Joker: Folie Deux has been revealed. On Saturday, she was photographed filming sequences for the Joker sequel in New York City, and the photos are all over the internet. Fans cannot wait to see her as Harley Quinn opposite Joaquin Phoenix aka The Joker, and her new appearance has only heightened their excitement.
The paparazzo photos and videos show her costumed as Harley Quinn in a statement outfit consisting of a red jacket, a checkered top, and a black skirt with mesh black leggings. She completed her look with long, ombre blonde hair that complemented her red clown-inspired eye makeup.
According to reports, the Bad Romance singer filmed some scenes at New York City Hall. Several additional characters were seen standing on the stairwell of the building during filming. Also observed were actors costumed as police officers.

The director posted a first glimpse at the film on Instagram along with the caption “Happy Valentine’s Day.” Lady Gaga also uploaded the same image to her account with the caption “Folie à Deux.” The image depicted Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn holding Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker’s face in her hands, while Phoenix’s Joker displayed his signature knowing grin.
Before Lady Gaga, Margot Robbie portrayed the DC Comics character Harley Quinn in the Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey films. On October 9, 2019, Warner Bros. will release its impending sequel in theaters.
