BJP Freed Tripura From Fear And Violence: PM Modi Addresses Poll Rally In Ambassa

In Tripura’s Ambassa, Narendra Modi alleged that for decades, the rule of Congress and Communists hindered the development of Tripura.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi lashed out at the Congress-CPI(M) alliance in election-bound Ambassa, Tripura on Saturday, claiming that under the Bharatiya Janata Party’s administration, the state’s police stations are no longer under the control of Left cadre.

Modi, speaking at an election rally in Ambassa, Tripura, claimed that decades of Congress and Communist control impeded the development of Tripura. The state has benefited from the development brought about by the BJP administration. “Violence is no longer synonymous with Tripura. “The BJP liberated the state from terror and violence,” stated the prime minister.
“Old players of misgovernance have joined forces, and other parties are aiding them from the shadows; whatever their name or slogan, even a single vote for them will set Tripura backwards,” he warned.

Modi further said that the Left and Congress regimes sowed discord among tribals, whereas the BJP sought to fix their problems, particularly those of the Brus.He added, “The BJP is striving for the improvement of tribals across India.”

“Beware of the double-edged sword of Congress and the Left, they want to halt any plans that benefit the people,” he said at the rally, urging the people to vote for the “double-engine” administration in order to continue the state’s development trend.

Modi said that the BJP has rid Tripura of a climate of fear and a “chanda” culture (donations).”Prior to BJP leadership, police stations in Tripura were seized by CPM cadre, but the state is now governed by the rule of law. Now, women are empowered in the state, and living conditions have improved,” Modi was reported as saying by the news agency ANI.

Modi said in a veiled allusion to Tipra Motha led by Pradyot Bikram Manikya Deb Barma that other parties were also aiding the Opposition alliance from the shadows, but that any support for them would set Tripura back several years.
“Your votes will prevent the Left from gaining power in Tripura and assure the continuation of ‘double-engine’ administration,” he continued.

Villages are being equipped with optical fibre and 4G connectivity. Now, Tripura is going international. We are creating waterways to connect the northeast and Tripura to ports, as stated by Modi.
