IND vs AUS 3rd ODI Highlights:

IND vs AUS 3rd ODI Highlights: Australia routed India by 21 runs in the third ODI on Wednesday to win the series 2-1. Australia scored a respectable 269 runs against India after electing to bowl. Adam Zampa (4/45) performed admirably with the ball as Australia bowled India out for 248 in 49.1 overs. However, the Australian top-order batsmen were unable to capitalise on their openings. Mitchell Marsh opened the innings with 47 runs off 47 deliveries, while Travis Head scored 33 runs off 31 balls.

Before losing their wickets, wicketkeeper Alex Carey (38), Marnus Labuschagne (28), Marcus Stoinis (25), and David Warner (22) all appeared in excellent condition. Australia surpassed the 250-run mark before being wiped out in 49 overs due to the efforts of Sean Abbott (26) and Ashton Agar (17).

Hardik Pandya (3/44) and Kuldeep Yadav (3/56) each took three wickets for India, while Axar Patel (2/57) and Mohammed Siraj (2/37) each took two. Similarly to the visitors, the Indian top-order began their innings. Rohit Sharma (30), Shubman Gill (37), Virat Kohli (54), KL Rahul (32), and Hardik Pandya (40) all scored runs but lost their wickets at crucial moments.

Adam Zampa | Player of the Match: I have had some success here. It’s a tough place to come, always a huge challenge. I try to stay in the game and be competitive. Ashton Agar changed the game. Kudos to the bowlers who bowled before me as well. We trust each other, trust our game plan. The message was to trust our process and improve on it.

Rohit Sharma | India captain: I don’t think it was too many runs. We didn’t bat well. Partnerships are crucial and that’s something we failed to do today. You are brought up playing in these type of wickets, it’s important you apply. After the start, it was important for one batter to carry on and take the game deep. It just didn’t happen.

Mitchell Marsh | Player of the Series: Natural aggression when it comes to batting. It’s been a lot of fun. (On Opening) I’ve got my little mate (Warner) who’ll come back at some stage. I’m coming off an extended break, worked on a lot of things. Came here really fresh. It’s been great. Hopefully I can have fun with Delhi (Capitals) as well.
